I can highly recommend attending this introductory course. Both Daniel and Abby are excellent tutors and create a wonderful atmosphere. All four attendees quickly settled in with each other and were soon comfortable and confident. Daniel and Abby are without doubt highly skilled and keen to share their knowledge.
I attended the course in March of this year. Abby and Dan provided high quality tuition and the day was an amazing insight into the complex and creative use of working with glass in this way. The day was a delight from start to finish. My work of art has pride of place in my home. Huge thanks to you both.
I've always loved stained glass,so it was lovely surprise when I was booked on a course at Lightworks as a birthday treat. I was an absolute beginner, so I couldn't believe it when I had completed my stained glass panel at the end of the day- (thanks to the fantastic teaching, support and patience of Daniel and Abby!!) I would highly recommend this course. Thanks once again Daniel and Abby for a wonderful day. You are both stars!!
An excellent day picking up new skills and learning so much about stained glass work. Abby and Dan are great teachers and help out when things get tricky eg the soldering. And at the end, it was great to produce a finished glass panel that looks terrific in the light. Thanks Dan and Abby for a great day. So many more questions to ask now so I'll have to book it again!
This stained glass day course was bought for my dad as a gift. I was lucky enough to be able to join him for the day and it was fabulous. Abby was a very patient teacher and catered brilliantly for our different needs. I had never cut glass, handled lead or soldered before. The end results were brilliant. We were both so impressed! Thank you so much for a brilliant experience. We'd both definitely do it again!
What a wonderful day! I thoroughly enjoyed myself, I learnt how to cut glass, solder lead and then put it all together to make a piece of beautiful stained glass, which is now in pride of place at home. Thankyou to the very skilled and knowledgeable tutors at Lightworks.
What a fantastic day. Four students in the workshop with everything you needed. I never would have believed I could make a complete panel in a day but with the help of two excellent tutors, I did and I was overjoyed with what I got to take home. I'll be back!
Three of us went on this course together today and we had a fabulous time. We each made a different design of stained glass panel, and are very pleased with all of them. There were 4 students in total with 2 tutors, so we had lots of help and advice over the day. Would definitely do it again.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day, 2 tutors to 4 clients..very good ..... No waiting for help ..advice freely given..felt very very happy with the piece I produced ! I would definitely recommend this course. And all in a lovely setting of Clitheroe.
Thank you both for a really good day. Ann .
I really enjoyed my one-day course at Lightworks and returned home proudly carrying my glass panel! Abby was lovely, helpful and cheerful, despite my several clumsy attempts at cutting a curve! I would love to go again and would highly recommend it.
