About the Course

Through this course you will learn all of the skills required to create your own mosaic panel. You will learn to select and cut the right pieces for your project and then combine them using traditional mosaic techniques.

You will become proficient at cutting glass, using mosaic cutters, grinding the glass and grouting. All before the day is through. This is a fun but messy process so pack an old shirt or apron.

Please feel free to bring an image if you have a particular theme in mind, but don’t worry as we have a vast collection of books and images you can use as a source for inspiration.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

I have managed to keep all my fingers and thumbs. I've created a mosaic masterpiece which is huge! I can't believe I made it in just 2 days. I used Marine plywood as it will be going outside. Jenny was so encouraging and is a very patient and enthusiastic teacher. The studio is lovely, but is up a small flight of stairs. I really enjoyed this course and learn't so much.

With the help of Jenny I made a fantastic Owl on a slate back which is going on the wall outside my kitchen outside. I'm chuffed to bits with it!

Brilliant course! I'm totally shattered, but loved every minute of this 2 day course. Jenny is a lovely teacher. I will be back.

I don't want to go home. The 2 days went too quickly; please can I stay another day?! I have wanted to work with glass for such a long time, now I have found you, I'm going to come back and do all of the courses when there is room. We all got on so well as a group and I think we will will all stay in touch, which is a lovely bonus. Thank you for a fabulous day.
