Come along to the Forest of Dean and spend the day with me in my workshop, creating a stained glass star using the copper foil technique. Learn the skills of cutting glass, foiling, and soldering. The class begins at 11am and goes through to about 3pm with a lunch break in between. You will finish the day with a colourful stained glass star to display in your home.
Important information: this class is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers due to the use of lead, and the minimum age for students is 15. For everyone else, please be reassured that I supply gloves and fume masks as well as running a fume extractor.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
You will need to bring along a packed lunch, and I will provide the teas, coffees or herbal teas.
All materials are included in the cost of the course, all you need to remember is to wear sensible footwear and clothes that you won't worry about spoiling. I provide aprons and all safety protection, for example goggles and dust masks.
The maximum I teach at one time is 3 so that everyone gets plenty of 1 to 1 time to help them with the various different skills needed for stained glass. It is a relaxed day and you will go home having learnt several new skills and with a piece of stained glass to be proud of.

Jo's class was friendly and casual in her lovely home studio. A small group meant it was easy and quick to pick up the techniques and it was great to be able to complete a full item in half a day.
Response from Jo Snowdon Stained Glass:Thank you for your review Charlotte, it was lovely to meet you and your mum last weekend. Your stars were lovely! Kind regards,
Meeting Jo Snowdon for the first time last week felt like bumping into an old friend, Jo is warm and friendly and an excellent tutor. Jo's small groups allow her to give all the individual attention and guidance that anyone could ask for. It was a joy and very satisfying to complete a piece of art to take home at the end of the evening.
Response from Jo Snowdon Stained Glass:Thank you for the fab review Jill, it was a pleasure to have you all over for the class. You created a lovely star! Best wishes and have a lovely Christmas,
