Learn how to make a stained glass panel

Description

This is a more detailed 2 day course you will learn how to design and make an A3 sized stained glass panel in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. No previous artistic experience is required as pre-made designs will be available, however you are more than welcome to create your own design. The course will be delivered by a fully experienced stained glass artist in a simple step-by-step process. This includes: Creating a design on paper Making a cutline Cutting the glass Leading-up the panel Finishing the panel On completion you will take away your very own beautiful stained glass panel to display in your home!! North wales creative glass studios Are planning to re-open for one to one workshops from August the3rd the studio is well ventilated and perspex screens have been placed over the tables, all PPE will be provided. Cost: £225.00per person Maximum booking: one to one

All materials and tools are provided. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available and also there is a couple of nice sandwich bars in the village.

"100% 5 stars! If you are at all interested in beautiful glass panels, and want to know more... don't wait any longer. Just take a chance and book this course! You won't regret it. The teacher, Brian, is kind, generous, welcoming and approachable... and clearly knows the subject inside out. I arrived, excited but a little apprehensive, because I have no artistic abilities whatsoever, and without a clue about the processes involved! I left with a panel that I will treasure and be very proud to display in my home. I've already shown the photos to most friends. All in all, a thoroughly rewarding experience. "

"What an amazing two days! I had looked forward to this course for a while and was definitely not disappointed. I believe that its success is down to the relaxed and calm atmosphere created in this gorgeous little building by Brian. He has the patience of a saint and has a knack of gently guiding you through the process without taking over. Luckily he also has a good sense of humour which is essential at times! I even had a private little corner where I could eat my lunch or curse quietly if things were not quite going to plan! Thank you Brian for teaching me so much about the process in such a short time. He is a first -class teacher, guiding his students through all steps of the process, from original design through glass cutting, leading up, soldering and polishing, in a calm, unhurried way with good humour, tea and biscuits thrown in. He always goes the extra mile to assist you in making sure that your initial ideas are brought to fruition. His studio (in a small chapel building) is in a quiet location – a sanctuary of peace and creativity where you are surrounded by some of Brian’s amazing creations to inspire you.
