"My friend and I attended 2 morning workshops held by Maria. Maria made us feel very welcome from when we first arrived to when the workshops finished. She has an excellent knowledge of Resin Art. Maria worked with us at our pace, we were able to take our time never feeling we had to rush. She talked through each process, showed a selection of products you use and advised the best and cheapest place to purchase them. Marie was a lovely lady, as was her beautiful dog that greeted us on arrival and when we left. We were both very pleased with the coaster set we made, can’t wait to see our final piece when it is delivered. "

"Fantastic experience learning how to build a drystone wall with an experienced instructor. The wall we dismantled and rebuilt is part of a conservation centre, and is used to keep sheep in/out to ensure they graze sustainably. We learnt the ins and outs of dry stone walling, with a practical approach to learning, and plenty of opportunities to make and then learn from mistakes."

"Another lovely day with expert, Judi. We made a reversible tote bag, in the morning, from stunning material which was provided. Judi is an exceptional teacher - she is calm and encouraging and helps to build confidence in sewing. In the afternoon we made a lined, zipped bag. Good quality material and concise instructions again. On leaving, we were given paper instructions so we could make another bag or two at home. Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake were provided - I highly recommend any of Judi’s courses. The venue is charming with good parking."

"I spent a day with Ed in his studio at the Spode works making a model and a mould for my current art project. His tuition was excellent and very thorough and even though I have some prior knowledge I learned an incredible amount about the nuances of this very skilled process. I brought away a beautiful model and mould so I can now slip cast with some excellent well informed background knowledge. I would recommend to all other makers and will return for some future projects. "
