Introduction to Silver Jewellery making
Description
Discover the art of jewellery making with a beginner-friendly silversmithing class in Cambridge led by the welcoming teacher Liz Taylor. Learn how to form, anneal, solder, and pickle silver as you create your own unique pieces to take home. In this workshop, experiment with metal forming, wire bending, stone setting, and adding textures to your creations, guided by Liz's expertise. Practice various techniques such as metal forming, wire bending, and stone setting. Create handmade jewellery pieces like rings, pendants, earrings, and a bangle. With group sizes limited to four, you'll receive individual attention and support throughout the class. Explore your creativity and express yourself through crafting beautiful silver jewellery. By the end of the workshop, not only will you have learned valuable silversmithing skills, but you'll also have a collection of your own unique jewellery pieces to cherish. Immerse yourself in this fulfilling activity and unlock your potential in jewellery making. An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket. This would also be a nice gift for her, gift for mum, anniversary gift or birthday gift.
