Carol Southerd reviewed: Weekend mosaic retreat - direct method

"Really enjoyed the course. Learned such a lot from Debra while working on my own project. There were 4 of us beginners attending. Each working on very different pieces. This maximised the learning opportunities as we benefitted from each others' work and Debra's advice on specific techniques. Time flew. Lovely food. Great company and beautiful surroundings. What more could you want?"

JANET VANCE reviewed: Free-Machine Embroidery 2 Day Workshops with Joanne Frankel Contemporary Textile Artist

"A clearly presented workshop. Takes you through the design process to the end product, in small steps but allowing you to create an original piece of work or lots of samples. All you need is a sketch book, some pictures for inspirations, (although Jo had plenty of material to inspire you), your sewing machine and lunch. Everything else is supplied including lots of support from Jo. Comfortable, light studio. Plenty of parking. An excellent way to spend a couple of days."

"I can highly recommend Kas and her online courses which are designed to explore personal creative development in such a unique and playful way. After taking part in the 4 week 'Therapeutic Intuitive Art Taster,' I have been inspired to paint more 'intuitively' and I am growing and developing my inner creative. Kas is a very kind and talented soul, who shares a wealth of experience and knowledge. Thanks for doing what you do Kas."

THERAPEUTIC INTUITIVE ART 4 WEEK reviewed: Free Taster Intuitive Art for Healing & Well Being art class/free group

"This course is really excellent from all points of view: the videos are well done, clear and powerful. They give lots of energy! Kas is so present, kind and professional, her comments to the work are respectful and gentle. We can do our paintings when we are ready and we have time, so great! Painting is also so relaxing! But not last, it is a powerful tool to explore ourselves, to understand some part of us in a creative and not hitting way! Being in the group is also a way to understand ourselves through the others' comments to our work, we challenge ourselves in a gentle way. Even I enjoyed so much!"

Carol Southerd reviewed: Marvellous Mosaic one day workshop

"Really interesting day at Lyndsey's beautiful workshop in historical centre of Shrewsbury. Lots of help and advice through the day. Nudged me in the right direction when artistic inspiration failed me! Lyndsey demonstrated grouting, cutting, use of tools, safety. Lots of examples of Lyndsey's own work and I was able to watch her work in a fabulous piece of her own. I loved it. The time flew. Like being in another world. Lovely place. I brought home a piece of my own to finish which I am delighted with. I hope to go back soon."

"Came away with a beautiful lampshade and learnt the skills needed to make another successfully! I learnt more about shibori techniques, but was rather disappointed with my scarf - totally my fault with the colours I chose! I will certainly do another! The day was well organised, notes were self explanatory and it was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. An excellent day - thank you Emma."

Janey Dilliway reviewed: Stonecarving Weekend, Gloucestershire Cotswolds

"I've just had 2 of the happiest days I can remember, stone carving (first time ever) by the banks of the river Severn. Who knew?! I was thoroughly absorbed in the whole process and delighted with my finished piece. Sebastion is on hand to guide and instruct and offer gentle encouragement. He also knows exactly the right time to put the kettle on. I really recommend this course and the location is an added treat."

Sue Howatd reviewed: Landscapes in Fleece

"My daughter and I have just spent the day with Sally Ann where she taught us how to willow weave and make a stags head. Sally Ann is the most wonderful of teachers, she was soooo thorough and interesting, humourous, patient and kind. Her lemon drizzle cake was perfect too. ? We had the most enjoyable of days where we learnt not just the craft work but also history of the craft and the willow. I can't imagine a course anywhere being so perfect, in every way. A big thank you to Sally Ann for sharing her talent and skills with us. We're hooked and can't wait to come again learn more!"

Matt Chipping reviewed: Beginners Bead-making

"I surprised my girlfriend with a birthday present of a trip to Bristol and a glass-bead making course with Cat, which was a fantastic experience I would definitely recommend to others! Right from the moment I contacted Cat asking about the content of the beginners course, how suitable it would be for us, which dates she was available etc. she was so friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to shift the dates back due to unforeseen circumstances. We were treated to a brilliant 6 hours of bead making, starting with familiarisation with the glass rods, the torch and other basic techniques and before lunch we had even made our own beads. Cat is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced but also very patient and made it a thoroughly enjoyable day for both of us! The beads look amazing but the experience itself surpassed all expectations. Thanks Cat!"
