Alison Mansfield reviewed: Needle felt landscapes workshop on Orkney, including lunch

"Just didn't know what to expect as my husband bought me Catherine's felting workshop as a Christmas gift but it was a superb day. I had wondered how on earth I would spend 6 hours sticking needles in a bit of fabric...but I was totally engrossed for the whole time. Catherine allowed creativity to flow and interjected with expert advice whenever necessary. She was great company. I was so proud of the landscape I created and still can't quite believe how easy I found it. I would highly recommend Catherine's felting workshop to anyone including total beginner like me."

Ellie Stokes reviewed: Introduction to herbal medicine - weekend courses

"I came on this course in about 2012 and enjoyed it very much. Rowan is very good at encouraging you to do the preparing yourself, which did give me confidence in trying it at home. In fact, over this last Christmas, my daughter insisted we made the moisturiser that I had first made with Rowan! She has taken a few pots home."

Rowan Mconegal responded:

"Thanks Ellie, so glad that you found it useful!"

"This course met my every expectation and more, I’ve always had an interest in knife making and I finally got a go at it. The team were very friendly and helpful and with Graham’s vast knowledge and help it made the process go very smoothly. This has only made me even more interested in knife making as I now hope to attend again at some point and even start making my own knives in my own workshop."

Caroline Kirkman reviewed: Group Soap-making Workshop - Soapology Studio - Nottinghamshire

"Really enjoyed this course. Soap making can be a bit “sciencey” and Emma got us through that easily and we have excellent course notes to refer to. The practical section was well thought out with a logical progression and plenty of time to explore her very interesting workspace and ask lots of questions. I travelled from Winchester and it was worth the drive! All in all a very good course."

SATISH MEHTA reviewed: Painting and Drawing one day workshop for adults with Penny Mason, Birmingham (NO CLASSES UNTIL MARCH 2021)

"I couldn't have asked a for a better introduction by Penny into the techniques of drawing and painting. I spent the day at her studio and was thoroughly immersed into what she was telling us and what we were doing. The day went so quickly that I was amazed at it was soon time to go home so soon, even though I spent a day there. In Penny's wonderful surroundings it was way a perfect start to learn various techniques and I shall be attending again in the near future. I would also like to thank Dan for the numerous coffees and wonderful soup which which he made. I would thoroughly recommend Penny if you want an intro into drawing and painting and it was well worth the cost!! See you soon Penny. satish mehta. 30.01.2019"

Jill Essex reviewed: Beginners Free Motion Machine Embroidery Workshop in Buntingford, Hertfordshire

"This was my second workshop with Sue. She was helpful and encouraging as ever, particularly when I was having trouble with my 40 year old sewing machine. Sue makes sure everyone is making progress, intervening in a non-obtrusive way when things aren't going so well. I came away with a piece which I felt quite proud of and I was doubly pleased today to see it as an example of beginners' work on her website. Thanks for another great workshop."

Sue Nicholls Designs responded:

"Thanks for the lovely review Jill."
