SarahRobins reviewed: Beginners 2 sterling silver stacking rings jewellery course

"What a fabulous morning! Sarah is an excellent teacher and communicator. I felt extremely welcome and was put at ease from the moment I arrived. Her garden worship is extremely organised and equipped. All the skills and tools were carefully explained and demonstrated, and every step felt within my grasp. I am thrilled with my two rings which compliment each other by having two different finishes. I think I am hooked and will be looking to develop my knowledge and skills. I would highly recommend this course, it is brilliant value."

Jo Moser reviewed: Glass Fusing for beginners

"Totally recommend this course. I'm not great at craft work, but Gigha is a patient, wonderful teacher encouraging you to be ambitious and creative and do as much as you can yourself but stepping in when things look like they need rescuing! Lovely to be able to produce the whole thing from initial drawing (taking inspiration from all the beautiful things Gigha has made) to final touches with a bit of help! Came home with a beautiful tea light holder. Thanks Gigha x"

Kathleen Shearer reviewed: Mosaic one day workshop for adults with Caroline Jariwala, Birmingham

""Wow" What a wonderful day !!! Can't recommend this course enough. From tile cutting to a completed mosaic in one day. After a warm welcome,we are given a brief tour of Caroline's inspirational mosaics, throughout her home and garden. Next it's to her studio were we are taught basic tile cutting skills. Caroline is a wonderfully attentive teacher, who's enthusiasm for her work becomes infectious. Her studio has an abundance of materials and encouraged by Caroline to experiment, she offers help and advise thoughout the workshop. A delicious lunch of home made soup Tea laughter and chocolate cake all supplied by Caroline help to make this workshop warm and welcoming. Worth every penny !!! Kath Shearer. October 2017."

Gillian Cain reviewed: Garden Fairy House using Powertex Workshop

"I thoroughly enjoyed the fairy house workshop and ended up with a project I was very proud of, so much so, I bought a starter pack to take home and continue my Powertex journey. When showing my finished project today everyone loved it and were amazed what and how it was made. The atmosphere was friendly, informal and fun. The venue was light, clean, airy and inspiring. Plenty of tea and coffee to keep me going. Beverley was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the products, the dos and donts, and what can be achieved for indoor and outdoor use. There were gorgeous examples on show, to photo, and use for future use. All my questions were answered fully. I would not hesitate to book anther course with her and hope to do so in the future."

David MacQueen reviewed: Screenprinting weekend with Liam Biswell

"Superb weekend. First time I've been able to throw myself into a print project from start to finish since I was at secondary school. So many ideas now flowing, I want to get back into the studio again and create more. Would have loved to spend more time getting to know everyone, but we were all so engrossed in our creations that the weekend whizzed by. I'd do it again in a heartbeat......just need to find the time now. Highly recommended creative weekend!"

KM Chan reviewed: Firebird Forge Blacksmithing School

"Had a most memorable and fun course day out with Mort! What an amazing experience. My gratitude and appreciation for Mort’s hospitality - from being flexible in accommodating our timing needs and number of participants, to being most supportive and encouraging of our ideas and designs to try. Mort is a most warm character and a person rich in stories - we had as much fun chatting about his life experiences, as we had learning of blacksmithing. I would highly recommend a session with Mort. It will be most enriching in many ways. Thank you sir, we truly enjoyed your company and the day out."

Tricia ackron reviewed: 2 Day Silver Jewellery Making Course - Ely

"Loved every minute of this course. I have long wanted to learn how to make jewellery and this was the first step to realising that ambition. Jonathan made it all so achievable and with the small group size was able to give everyone plenty attention and 1:2:1 time. I completed a ring and a pair of earrings both of which have received positive comments. Jonathan’s advice on equipment and starting out is practical and the printed information he provided is helpful and relevant. In conclusion I would whole heartedly reccommed this course to anyone interested in jewellery making."

David Liddell reviewed: Bee Experience

"Had a superb day! Steped in and it was a very welcoming place. The bee keeper kath talked to me about what was going happen, I was worried about fitting into a bee keeper suit however they had every size available from 3 year old to 5xl. Wow what a fantastic experience! Kath was very knowledgeable and I learnt loads about bees. Pictures was taken throughout so I had memories to look back on. Kath makes you feel at ease throughout the experience and it's really safe. The center is also great to look around and you get to taste the honey directly from the bees! I bought some honey from the shop they have and it's the bees knees !!!"

caroline rossiter reviewed: Screenprinting weekend with Liam Biswell

"Thank you Liam for a great weekend of screen printing - Toby and I got such a lot out of the workshop. We now have the knowledge and knowhow to continue at home with lots of great ideas and renewed inspiration. Techniques were explained thoroughly and coherently, and you really offered up the chance to go for it and get creative. My lasting memory is of ten people busily printing, washing and experimenting - the time just flew by! Thanks again. Caroline and Toby."

Dawn Farrington reviewed: 3 day traditional silver jewellery course

"A great course with Jesa & Al who have the patience and the know how to help everyone whatever they are creating. Working at your own pace and on your own piece(s) you learn from them and from the rest of the group. I have looked for a while for a course as flexible as this and I'm so pleased that I found them. There were 8 of us on the course and 6 were returning having been before and wanting more. I don't blame them - I've already booked another course for next year. I started with very little experience and left feeling inspired to try more. Thanks for a brilliant 3 days."

Andy Spanjers reviewed: Wood turning courses in the Midlands

"My wife gave me a voucher for a day of wood turning instruction with Mark for my birthday. I had a bit of experience turning wood (self taught) and so Took my tools and work samples along. Mark was able to tailor my day to suit my strengths and weaknesses. It was a long and thouroghly enjoyable day, covering all aspects of turning finishing log prep and tool use and sharpening. Mark was very helpful and full of knowledge. I think the fact that he is passionate about what he does comes in his teaching. The information and websites he emailed are an added bonus to the day. Thanks very much Mark! My head is still buzzing from all the information! PS.I've already raised my lathe to stop my backache!"

Ms. R reviewed: Photography Days

"Had a really enjoyable day with Richard & Sue. I was lucky enough to be by myself. :) I was comfortable and at ease throughout the day which went by very quickly. They looked at my camera and explained how I could make the most of its features. They encouraged me to take different types of pictures & to see the difference that adjusting various settings make on the outcome of the image. The area is amazing for photography & fresh air. Richard & Sue are sincere & friendly with a genuine passion for photography. I'm so happy I stepped out of my comfort zone & went ahead."
