CONTACT ME BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE For Beginners and Intermediates: On your 4 week course, Alison will expertly guide you through some of the various techniques to get you started on your ceramic journey. From pinch pots, coiling and slab work to clay decoration using slips and glazes you will work at a steady and relaxed pace to create some wonderful objects to be proud of. Maybe you have already learned the art of pottery and want to brush up on your skills or enhance your clay repertoire! Come along and have full use of our facilities with the opportunity to experiment, meet new people and be inspired to create some wonderful new pots. You can continue your journey after your initial introduction to clay and keep attending the weekly class paid in blocks. People stay for years in a lot of cases! You can join our classes at any time, there are no set term times. The classes will be mixed for all abilities and you can discuss your individual needs with Alison via the contact form above if you wish. TIME: Tues & Wed MORNINGS: 9.30-11.30 am Tues & Wed AFTERNOONS: 12-2 pm, 2.30-4.30 pm Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs EVENINGS: 5-7 pm, 7-9 pm The 4 weekly sessions cost £65 when paid in a block. Note: Missed classes are charged at half price of £8 with 4 free session holidays to be taken at any time throughout the year. *This course can be started at any time of the year...Book up now!* please check date availability. Please bring your own apron. *Please note that there is a small charge for each finished item created at class, this is in addition to the course cost* Alison is an experienced ceramic and stained glass artist with a BA (hons) degree in Fine Art who has taught adult education, primary schools and classes for students with learning difficulties. She has a wealth of experience and would love to help bring the creative side out of you!
