Pottery play day. Hand building. Slab, coil and pinching This is a one -2 - one or max of 4 students per session. It is perfect for friends, family or partners. Price is per person. You will have a total studio experience, as well as a fun and relaxing Morning /Afternoon with clay. I will expertly guide you through some of the various techniques to get you started on your pottery journey. Pinch pots, coiling and slab work, through to simple decoration, using slips and glazes. This is a great taster course for a novice, or for those with more experience. My studio is a relaxed place to create some lovely pieces of pottery. I will also tailor the morning to suit your skill level and give you full guidance in building what you desire. If you wish to come on a weekly basis then that can be arranged to suit you. This is for a morning workshop, and starts at 10am through to 12.30pm. Afternoon 1.30pm 4pm The workshops are structured to be fun and creative, where students of all ages can let their imaginations run wild. My studio is in a beautiful setting by my pond. Please wear old cloths. Coffee, Tea and biscuits are provided along with all equipment. I also offer a one-to-one workshop for 1 person where we will go into greater depth. £99 per day. ( pottery gets very messy however old you are !!

What's included in the price?

I will provide all the clay, tools and equipment for each student. Please note that it takes a few weeks for pieces to dry thoroughly and for me to then biscuit fire, glaze, and subsequently glaze fire again. If you are wanting to make a piece for a gift or special occation please contact me as you will need to arrange another session to glaze.

I am a professional artist and sculptor. I work in both 2d and 3d mediums. I recently was asked to do some workshops for a group of young students and I loved the experience of sharing my knowledge. I then went on to host a workshop as a hen day for friends of mine. This then led me here to continue the journey. Art is such an enjoyable subject. I regard myself to be so lucky to do what I do.
