Animal clay sculpture workshops one day
Description
At the end of the day you would have made a sculpture, but it will need to be left to dry and fired. My workshops are designed for complete beginners and improvers. Generally, I cover animal sculpture, like Hare, Dogs, Foxes, Cats etc but I usually accommodate most ideas within reason. Although I have marked some specific dates I am flexible so if you would like a workshop on a different date or weekday please get in touch. I need a minimum of 4 students I will talk you through it step by step. If you don’t want to make an animal you can make a large bowl or vase, using either slab pieces and build it or coiling method. These are simple methods but need a bit of patience. Once again I will help you with these methods. Once your sculpture is finished, it is left to dry and then fired. You will return for a 2-hour session to glaze your sculpture this will cost £25.00 If anyone is interested in a workshop during the week let me know. I need a minimum of 4 students and a max at the moment of 6. Although I set some dates, I tend to work around my students, so please feel free to ask me for specific dates and as long as the studio is free I can fit you in. I try and make classes relaxed and fun. Classes run from Pugin rooms MARLOW
