Sometimes known as the May tree, the Hawthorn is named after the month in which it blooms and is often seen as a sign that spring is turning to summer. These dainty twig branch hoops are a celebration on this time of year and the promise of sunshine to come.
I've made sure to find you the prettiest branch I could and I have kept this little twig safe for around 2 years to keep casting into silver.
The twigs are cast using Recycled silver and made into hoops at my little garden workshop.
The dainty silver branch hoops attach to the ear via a stud and butterfly fitting and come gift wrapped, making an ideal gift for a friend or family member.
The silver leaf branch hoops are lightweight dainty earrings that have a rich texture and shape creating a subtle but noticeable statement when worn.
Hawthorn is a pagan symbol of fertility and has ancient associations with May Day. It was the ancestor of the Maypole and its leaves and flowers the source of May Day garlands. These dainty branch earrings mirror this wreath shape.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the branch hoop earrings or if you might like to request a custom size.
