Description

Come learn the basics of silversmithing by making 3 unique silver rings in one day. You will learn theory that underpins working with sterling silver and try out basic techniques using hand tools and soldering equipment to craft a wearable memory. Suitable for beginners and above. For beginners and beyond 16+years Rachel Hearne studied Jewellery and Metalsmithing in the USA and has been teaching all levels of students for over 17 years. She has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally.

She offers one to one tuition and specialist workshop classes from her purpose built fully equipt studio Rachel Hearne Jewellery School in Lancaster UK. She was lecturer of Jewellery and Silversmithing Nelson and Colne College teaching beginning, intermediate and advanced students for over 14 years giving her experience in teaching all abilites and ages.
