Description

If you are interested in learning how to make your own silver stacker rings, along with learning  basic silversmithing skills then this is the course for you. This course is suitable for absolute beginners to people with some prior experience who may wish to build on the skills they already have. Time permitting you will make 2-3 stacker rings. During the day you will learn how to use silver & copper to make various ring shapes, before deciding on your final ring shapes. Your final rings can be left plain or textured, before being buffed to a high shine finish. The skills you will learn during the workshop are how to saw shape, anneal, solder and curing the different metals to make a variety of rings. This workshop is very interactive and continued support is offered throughout the day, whilst at the same time allowing students to work independently. The course runs for 2.5 hours but on occasions can slightly over run, to enable students to fully complete their rings.
