Beautiful Bronze* Bangle Workshop at Simply Amazing Jewellery School

Not everything is soldered, these open rings and bangle make great gifts

Completely absorbed, managing several projects, there is plenty to do

We practice with copper or bronze before working with silver

Description

In this workshop, you can work with up to 4mm bronze or copper (*silver option - you can choose silver wire in a thickness to suit your purse up to 4mm, to be purchased in advance) to create a beautiful bangle - twisting, hammering and shaping - a mental and physical challenge as you find solutions to difficulties and ways to add your style to the pieces you make. It's great fun and a bit of a workout! Choose from the dates available or ask if you would like to book a special date. **Sterling silver - if you wish to work with precious metal, please allow 10 working days if possible, to arrange** Please allow up to 5 hours for this workshop, including a lunch break. Build your confidence and your jewellery collection. Enjoy a few hours of creative fun in friendly and supportive surroundings. Suitable for complete beginners, you will be encouraged to plan and prepare with the group before the event so you can be sure to get the best out of your day. What's next? What's included in the price?

Light refreshments are available as you work, no other purchase necessary unless you wish to use other options for your project. A one hour lunch break allows you to explore Sherwood shops with many food outlets within just a few minutes walk of the studio. Free car parking nearby, busy bus route, located in busy Sherwood shopping area.

"I had such a great day with Viv. I booked on alone and joined a group of 3 others. We had a great day together. Viv explains things clearly and the day starts slow with copper going through the techniques you're learning. At lunch I thought I'd never get the silver rings made but I made 4 rings really quickly as the instructions previously had been so good. I am really pleased with what I've made. Really recommend the course. We had tea and cakes in the studio and there are lots of places for lunch nearby (although you will want to be quick and get on with the fun). The only thing was the studio was cold. It was one of the coldest days in December so to be slightly expected as it is a studio in a fairly old building. Didn't distract from my enjoyment but maybe wait till spring if you feel the cold!!! Viv - thanks so much! "

"We had the best day! My friend and I did the stacking rings workshop and loved every minute. We made 3 bronze rings in the morning and then 2 silver in the afternoon. Also recommend pudding pantry down the road for breakfast and Crimson Tree next door for lunch. "
