This NEW sterling argentium silver workshop explores a completely different silversmithing experience! Choose the shorter half day* experience or go for the full creative day** to challenge your new skills 😀 * Using argentium to make 2 unique stacking rings that would be much more difficult to achieve using traditional sterling silver. ** Being creative, using the unique properties of argentium, with enough to make a pair of earrings, a pendant and a ring for example. Argentium is a wonderful recycled, silver alloy, purer than sterling silver, stronger than fine silver, it has amazing creative potential. It polishes up beautifully and resists tarnishing, so it will always be ready to wear. This is silversmithing without the skills needed for soldering. Other dates are available, just ask for the date you would prefer and I will let you know if it is available.

All the usual: refreshments, resources, materials and tuition are included in the price. Findings are available to purchase if you want to turn your work into wearable jewellery.

FAQs
You need to look for the Creative Workshop - these are for one or two only and you need to book at least two weeks in advance to allow time to prepare.
The half day experience will allow you to try out some of the techniques demonstrated - you should complete at least 2 unique stacking rings making use of the special properties of argentium to add interest and embellishments but you may decide to make a simple pendant instead - you can message me before or after booking to discuss alternatives suitable for the scope of the workshop.
We still have free parking available near the workshop but paid for parking is being introduced also. To ensure up to date info, I send a map with parking and other useful info just a few days before the event
