This NEW workshop explores a completely different silversmithing experience! We plan the day and discuss what you would like to achieve, materials to be purchased on the day. Argentium is a wonderful recycled, silver alloy, purer than sterling silver, stronger than fine silver, it has amazing creative potential. This is fusing with all the fun of organic design and all the sophistication of stunning jewellery that polishes up and will resist tarnishing, with a ready shine. This is silversmithing without the skills needed for soldering. Other dates are available, just ask for the date you would prefer and I will let you know if it is available.
What's included in the price?
All the usual - refreshments, resources and tuition - are included in the price. For those who don't want to just make rings, silver chain or ear wires can turn those fabulous creations into wearable jewellery, and can be made or purchased, to suit.

I am often asked about younger children who are very creative with good dexterity.
Strength is necessary to work tools and materials. Even older teenagers lack this strength!
Time is also a factor. Schools keep lessons short and organised to ensure challenge and success.
I can create a bespoke workshop if you are still interested?
This has changed recently, we still have free parking available near the workshop but paid for parking is being introduced which is much closer. It may also indicate changes to come and my parking information may change after you have booked.
