Bracelets with stone or bronze beads
X

Description

Macrame is a very satisfying and versatile hobby, and this class is a great introduction to the craft. You'll learn the basic skills you need to create sennits, or chains of knots, and add semi-precious stone beads to create your own unique macrame jewellery, while enjoying a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a cup of tea (and biscuits, of course!). Take home your own beautiful bracelet and a desire to make more!

Suitable for complete beginners, you will be guided through every step by Wendy, owner of The Little Craftery, and life-long crafter.

The workshop runs for approximately one-and-a-half hours. Enjoy a chat with like minded people and learn some new skills! All materials and refreshments are included in the price.

Please visit our website via the link above for more details and to book online.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

All materials, tea and biscuits are included in the price. You will take home the bracelet you made, and a booklet with written instructions and diagrams to help you make more at home.

Wendy couldnt have been more helpful or patient. We were all complete beginners and all ended up with beautiful pieces of wall art and had a very enjoyable morning! Wendy was really flexible after one of our group got stuck in traffic and kindly purchased gluten free snacks for us which we relly appreciated Thoroughly recommend!

There was only me as Wendy is only doling small classes or singles at present due to the virus. But I got on really well. I did another macrame with her so had a little bit of a head start but still I'm not very good but Wendy is very patient and watches everything you do and helps to stop making a mistake that will take a long time to undo and redo.

I'm so proud of it, and Wendy gave ideas how I could adapt this hanging to be a little different and how to go on and make others.

You get all the supplies you need and instructions to take home to try it at home.

I love it there. Can't go wrong, either on your own or with up to two friends, you will everything Wendy teaches and there is a lot. Even for me that crafts all the time. There is always something new.

I made this bracelet before the Covid restrictions, and it was my first attempt at Macrame. I gave the bracelet to my sister and she loves it, very pleased as she is very difficult to please. And I enjoyed making it.

I have done several classes with Wendy and am never disappointed, she is welcoming and patient, she needs to be with me I'm afraid. I do a lot of crafting but always go to Wendy to learn new crafts.

She gives me an excellent basis on which to build skills to go and make other things, or indeed teach others at church.

I have made a few things with Wendy and whilst I am a 'seasoned' crafter, Wendy always finds something new that intrigues me.

The Macrame feather was my second attempt at Macrame and even though Wendy had to tell me several times where I had gone wrong, she never lost patience with me. Just corrected where I went wrong and off we went till next time.

Due to Covid, her classes are smaller than usual but even so they are fun, I would recommend The Little Craftery to anyone who wants to learn a new craft.

When you're learning from scratch it's reassuring to have someone watching and guiding you through the tricky stages. Wendy was friendly and attentive which meant mistakes were picked up quickly and corrected. The atmosphere was relaxed and convivial. I ended up with a piece of craft that I'm proud of and feel confident to attempt it again on my own. Thank you.

What a lovely Macramé bracelet class where I learned a new creative skill on a wet Sunday morning. Wendy is very patient (just as well as I seemed to be the last one to finish every time) and very knowledgeable. I left the class eager to show off my new bracelet (which looked shop-bought, in a good way!) As soon as I arrived home I showed my daughter how to make a bracelet with the kit I bought from Wendy. Watch out everyone this Christmas, guess what you're going to get from me??!!

I really enjoyed this class and would like to thank Wendy for all her help. I didn’t manage to complete my Macrame and have booked another session in order to go back and hopefully finish off.

The classes are small and everyone is really friendly which helps put you at ease.

Cute little craft shop, run by a patient lady. I was a bit wary of trying something new but I thoroughly enjoyed it, and Wendy was eager to explain and help as we worked. I am pleased with my bracelet and it has taught me a new craft which always opens up new ideas for me. I look forward to attending more classes. Thank you Wendy x

I was a first timer at macrame as it was a Christmas present so not sure what to expect.
However I was warmly welcomed and felt relaxed straightaway. Just the 4 of us on course as one cancelled which meant extra help and advice.
Overall an excellent afternoon out and would fully recommend a craft course at Little Craftery.
The jewellery course looks very interesting.

Thank you Wendy for setting up such an enjoyable craft afternoon! It was both relaxing and fun making the macrame bracelet in your lovely studio, with very pleasant company and your most patient teaching. You make a great cup of tea too! I shall certainly book more courses with you and I would thoroughly recommend this macrame class to everyone! Having bought several little macrame kits from you, I came home and made another bracelet, whilst at the same time showing a friend how to make one herself too! Success all round - thank you so much Wendy!
