Thank you, Alice, for a relaxed and fun introduction to macrame. I admired your patience and teaching skill. It was great to see how you displayed your example clearly and encouraged each person in the workshop. Your encouragement and enthusiasm were wonderful. I like your aesthetics too, and would highly recommend this course to anyone interested.
Lovely way to spend a couple of hours learning something new on-line at home. Alice is a great teacher and I am definitely inspired to continue my macrame journey!
Alice’s course is brilliant, was a great location in the round tower, enough space and lovely to hear the sea around us. Alice is a great teacher, I really enjoyed learning how to make a macrame hanger and have now got the skills and knowledge to make some more!
Really enjoyable and relaxing 2hrs with a great teacher and really nice person! Felt really safe with Alice’s Covid precautions which did not detract from the course.
The rhythm of tying the knots was extremely relaxing and I now have a lovely retro pot hanger.
Thank you Alice and good luck with all your future courses which I will look at with interest!
I really enjoyed this course, the timing was perfect and the explanations clear.
It's nice to have something to take home.
The venue (the round tower) was such a lovely space to do this, you could hear the waves.
Purchased as a birthday gift from my husband, I did the workshop last Sunday (originally booked for earlier in the year but was rescheduled). Alice make the class totally compliant with social distancing, so it felt safe.
The location was also very pretty and inspired creativity too!
The macrame tutorial was brilliant, Alice was patient and helpful - and the end result was a fabulous plant holder which now has pride of place in my bathroom (super chuffed as I've wanted a plant in my bathroom for ages!)
I have already recommended the class to people I know and I would not hesitate on recommending it to the person reading this! Excellent workshop
What a great workshop! It was so nice to just switch off from everything and focus on one thing and being in the moment. A great way to learn something new and practice mindfulness. I loved it! Alice is lovely and so patient. And I'm chuffed with my pot hanger. I would definitely recommend this workshop.
Excellent workshop - thanks Alice for having us and your kindness and patience teaching us. Lovely escape for the afternoon, learning to make a pot hanger - would recommend to others.
Very nice teacher, amazing venue and a rewarding project.
Such a fantastic workshop! The two hours flew by and I came home with wonderful macrame pot hanger. I cannot wait to do another one!
Alice was a great teacher and incredibly patient with us all. It was a really fun way to spend an evening and I have even got the kids doing it now! I would highly recommend it...and can’t wait to come back and do more.
Such a lovely way to spend some time! Alice is a wonderful, very patient teacher who was great with the slow & fast learners alike. Highly recommend.
What a Lovely way to spend 2 hours, not only learning a new craft but also enjoying the lovely friendly surroundings. I will definitely be back for more. Thank you Alice 😁
I had a lovely time learning macrame techniques. Alice is patient, encouraging and in just a couple of hours I came away with a finished pot holder. Perfect!
As someone who also teaches workshops it was super enjoyable to actually learn something! Alice was really lovely, and a good educator and my mother and I both enjoyed it very much! I'll certainly be looking to do some more of Alice's workshops.
My Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and were really happy with the end product. Although we were initially slow to pick up the techniques, with Alice’s thorough and patient teaching skills we finished our pot hangings!
The pot hanger workshop with Alice was brilliant fun!
It was nice to learn about a new craft, had some great conversation and made a pot hanger – all in 2 hours! I left feeling very creative and very inspired. Thank you!
I have completed 2 macrame courses now. Alice is an excellent teacher. Patient, friendly and knowledgeable. I have come away feeling confident and able to progress by myself. I will hopefully be back for more, will be trying weaving next time. Thank You Alice.
Thank you Alice,
I had a great time on the macrame course today, under your expert tution I made a lovely plant pot holder - I’m so impressed with my first attempt at macrame!

A most enjoyable and relaxing 2 hours and came home with a new skill which I will pursue at home, and a lovely pot hanger. Alice was very welcoming and the studio in an amazing location.
A happy two hours learning a new skill in a welcoming environment. A very enjoyable Sunday morning, thank you!
Alice is so accommodating, super friendly and patient. Loved the ambience of her studio and the course all round. 5stars! xxx
Once again I cannot praise Alice enough, having attended her Introduction to Loom Weaving a few weeks ago I was itching to get stuck into the macrame course! Beautiful calm environment, fabulous coffee and highly influential teaching. I was so sad to leave as I’d gotten used to coming each week to learn something new! I’ve learnt so much valuable information from Alice herself, let alone her workshops. I could go on for hours, I cannot recommend her enough. She’s fantastic.
Alice is a great teacher, she taught each person the knots individually to their needs, she then helped us all with ideas and how to recover from mistakes. The others of the course were great like-minded crafters. Felt very comfortable and enjoyed the day.
Lovely studio and lovely area, I hope to book onto the weaving course because Alice is so clever and all her products are amazing and so inspirational.
Cannot recommend this highly enough! I had the most amazing time yesterday and i've already got some more macrame on the go at home that i started when i got back. Alice was great and the studio is such a lovely place to visit and work. Book - you will love it!! :)
Alice is very welcoming and is an encouraging teacher. I enjoyed the macrame workshop very much and have continued to work on my wall hanging. The studio is well equipped and a lovely creative space.
Alice is a friendly and patient teacher to her students and provides a warm welcoming environment surrounded by lovely pieces of art to inspire your creativity. Thank you Alice :-)
