On purchase log in and go at your own pace and have unlimited access, this workshop is not live and does not expire. There is also an optional private facebook group to join. This is suitable for beginners and for those who have done macrame before. The workshop also includes a printable knot booklet. You will learn: How to make your own macrame wall hanging, how to half hitch, half knot, cording, leaf pattern, how to create feathers and finish your wall hanging with beads and embellishments. Once you have purchased you will be sent a link with the virtual workshop, have unlimited access and go at your own pace. You will also be able to join the macrame club facebook group for guidance. Alice Hume is a Textile Artist based at Portsmouth Museum & Art Gallery. In 2013 she graduated from Winchester School of Art with a degree in Woven Textile Design. Vanderhume comes from her ancestry of Flemish Weavers. Alice pushes the boundaries of weaving and uses unusual materials of copper yarn and raffia on her 8-shaft Harris Loom. After Graduating Alice and her father collaborated to make handmade frame looms called Hume Looms from recycled wood which she uses to teach weave workshops.
