Beginners silver jewellery course. You will spend the day in my own workshop surrounded by the tools of my trade and a bit of mess! Not a classroom environment. This is a full day's silver jewellery making workshop, in which you will learn a variety of techniques using professional quality tools, to make your own sterling silver jewellery. We only accept a maximum of four students at any one time to ensure plenty of one-to-one tuition. All the silver required to make your jewellery is included in the cost of the course (fair usage applies). This is very much a hands on day, and is structured so that you leave with two to three pieces of jewellery that you have made from start to finish. 22/11/2025: I’m sure most people are aware of the rising cost of precious metals. Over the last three years the base price of silver has more than doubled. Therefore I have reluctantly had to increase the cost of this course by £5.00, making it £100.00.

A general reply would be no. But I’m happy to arrange a bespoke class where you can bring your unwanted items for remodelling.
Gold works much the same as silver. However, you are looking at 9ct gold costing almost 40 times the cost of Sterling silver.
Of course, I run a bespoke wedding ring making class, or if it’s just a ring making experience you are after, that’s no problem. I do like a bit of competitive ring making!
I’ve had children as young as eight attend a class. Obviously parental supervision is a must,
