"What a wonderful, memorable and very special day for both my sister and myself! I'd purchased a surprise jewellery making day for her to celebrate a special birthday and thought it would be great to do together and to each have something to take away and wear! The great reviews I'd read were certainly testimonies to Mark's skills, great teaching, encouragement, support to each individual to make whatever they chose. Each of us worked on a ring in the morning - learning all the basic skills that we could then use in our further choices in the afternoon. Fascinating seeing how much went into each part of the make! The afternoon gave us the opportunity to choose what we might like to do next, using the skills and knowledge from the morning and more besides. We both chose to do a bangle and had fun creating the design to imprint through the roller - similar but not the same and personalised with an additional stamped dandelion by my sister - a favourite for her - unknown to me and a special link to the name for Terri and Mark! Mark's workshop was a wonderful toolbox for all we needed - well kitted out and a work-station for each of the 3 of us there to enjoy our day of creativity. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark, he encouraged each of us throughout, Terri bringing drinks when needed. I can't recommend the course run by Mark and Terri of Dandelion and Silver enough - welcomed, taught many new skills with encouragement and patience, and came away with something we will each wear with pleasure and remember our special 'time out' and celebration together. Thank you - know I would love to return and have already had friends asking about where we went! Many thanks indeed!"

Everything was explained comprehensively with demonstrations then we were given plenty of time to practise our new found skills with Mark helping and advising along the way. "Me and my mum went on this course today for a treat and had a great time! We started off making our own rings with Mark's guidance before starting our own projects. The quality of the finish we were able to achieve is beautiful. I made a lovely pair of leaf drop earrings (which I'm wearing now!) and my mum made a pretty bangle with a charm - she's always struggled to find one that fits as her wrists are so small but now she's got one made to measure. Mark and Terri were really patient, friendly and welcoming and we would definitely recommend a trip to them for this course!"

"I attended this course with my Mum as a Mothers Day gift. We were both quite apprehensive having never done anything like this before. It was such a fantastic day! The session was relaxed, comfortable and Mark provided plenty of reassurance to us as we figured things out. Both Terri & Mark are so warm and welcoming. Mark is such a good teacher, he’s so skilled and knowledgeable about all and everything to do with his craft and that workshop is equipped with everything you could ever need! "I agree with the previous reviews. I have just had a fabulous day at Dandelion Silver on a beginner’s course for jewellery making. Mark made me feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I had a fabulous day. Mark is a fantastic tutor and we left with some lovely pieces of jewellery. I agree with previous posts it was very good value for money. I made a set of stacker rings two individual rings with a stone setting and an individual wide band ring. You can tell I like my rings. Mark is very patient and explains everything you need to know to complete your projects, which are entirely your own choice. My daughter was so impressed I feel that we could be going back together later on in the year to have some more fun. It was Brilliant would recommend to anyone. "

"I had a fantastic day at Dandelion Silver. Mark was a very patient teacher and I practiced different techniques used within the making of various pieces. Mark encouraged me to take my design one step further in which I developed even more skills and knowledge. Lunch was very tasty being a variety of sandwiches and wraps with cakes and biscuits. There were generous amounts of tea/coffee offered throughout the day. I was so happy to learn some new skills and show off my beautiful pieces ☺️"
