"I booked onto the full day course with two friends back in June. Learning all of the different techniques was so much fun and we’ve all come home with some really lovely pieces of jewellery. I made two rings and a pair of earrings which I usually wear every day! The teaching was paced really well with lots of room for questions and we all felt really comfortable using the tools / machinery. A great day out with the girls!! Thank you so much"

"Really good session but finding it was challenging. You need what 3 words (Score.Plea.Grips) to locate, as no phone signal and postcode not exact for getting there by sat nav Learnt loads. Tutor v knowledgable and skilled at explaining and guiding. Just 2 of us on the course so we’d made a ring and bracelet each in 6 hrs. No additional charge for silver used although you need be reasonable in usage understandably. Wholly recommend. And you have something that you can wear as a reminder "

"My daughter and I had a great day making jewellery with Mark. We must have had a go at at least 12 different processes, which was so interesting. We both made a ring in the morning and then my daughter made a bangle and I made a pendant. Honestly, and surprisingly, people would pay good money for what we made! Mark was a very good teacher, very calm and encouraging. A thoroughly enjoyable day. My only suggestion is that you work out exactly where the house is within the village before you leave home as it isn’t easy to find once you get there and there was zero signal in the village! I asked someone for directions though, so all was well. "

"Had an absolutely fantastic morning making my silver ring with Mark today. As soon as I pulled up to the house, both he and Terri were a delight to meet and so accommodating! Really lovely people the pair of them, which made the whole experience so relaxed. Mark himself is extremely helpful and talked me through every section of how to make, finish and polish the ring and I’ve ended up producing a fantastic piece of keep sake jewellery to be proud of. Mark was patient and supportive throughout guiding us through each stage of the process allowing us to make something we would like to wear. Terri was also super responsive to any questions between booking and arriving. One thing to note the village has no phone signal which actually made it better 😊 We couldn’t recommend this course and Mark and Terri highly enough. "

"What a wonderful, memorable and very special day for both my sister and myself! I'd purchased a surprise jewellery making day for her to celebrate a special birthday and thought it would be great to do together and to each have something to take away and wear! The great reviews I'd read were certainly testimonies to Mark's skills, great teaching, encouragement, support to each individual to make whatever they chose. Each of us worked on a ring in the morning - learning all the basic skills that we could then use in our further choices in the afternoon. Fascinating seeing how much went into each part of the make! The afternoon gave us the opportunity to choose what we might like to do next, using the skills and knowledge from the morning and more besides. We both chose to do a bangle and had fun creating the design to imprint through the roller - similar but not the same and personalised with an additional stamped dandelion by my sister - a favourite for her - unknown to me and a special link to the name for Terri and Mark! Mark's workshop was a wonderful toolbox for all we needed - well kitted out and a work-station for each of the 3 of us there to enjoy our day of creativity. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark, he encouraged each of us throughout, Terri bringing drinks when needed. I can't recommend the course run by Mark and Terri of Dandelion and Silver enough - welcomed, taught many new skills with encouragement and patience, and came away with something we will each wear with pleasure and remember our special 'time out' and celebration together. Thank you - know I would love to return and have already had friends asking about where we went! Many thanks indeed!"
