About the Course
Have you ever wanted to make your own piece of silver jewellery? Or are you looking for a gift experience for someone who loves jewellery? My one day workshops will be an introduction to making silver jewellery using traditional tools and techniques in the tranquil setting of my garden workshop.
The day is totally tailored to you and your jewellery making experience will begin before you even step foot in the workshop! I will be in contact beforehand to chat and discuss your designs and ideas so you can make the most of your day.
The day will start at 9.00am with a cuppa and workshop orientation; familiarising yourself with the tools and materials. Then you will crack on with making your jewellery by learning techniques such as sawing, filing, drilling, annealing, soldering and polishing. I will be on hand to offer advice and guidance and will demonstrate each part of the jewellery making process. We will break for lunch and continue after until 4.30pm.
I guarantee that you will feel satisfied and rewarded for creating your own pieces of jewellery and also relaxed with easy going chat and Radio 2!
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

Response from Jude Karnon Jewellery:Thanks Gets for your great review. I'm glad you had a great day :)
My daughter and I had a wonderful day - seven and half hours spent making jewellery with a short break for a delicious lunch. Jude even managed to work out a way for my daughter to achieve the complex origami style pendant that she had thought up (although there were sighs when my daughter realised that she was giong to have to do some very delicate soldering). It was very much a hands on experience which was great, even better we each managed to make three pieces of jewellery.

Just home from a day course with Jude which was a gift from my husband for Christmas. Jude was warm and friendly and I was at ease from the moment we met. Fantastic day filled with laughs and great tips. Jude has given me the confidence to follow my dream of designing and making my own jewellery in silver. As I said to Jude this was the 4th best experience of my life after my marriage, the birth of my children and grandchildren. I learnt so much and left with such sense of achievement and a massive smile on my face. I would definitely recommend Jude as a teacher of silver skills, Thanks Jude and much love x

Amazing day! My daughter and I love the jewellery we made, and had a fantastic time making it. Jude is patient and very good at explaining how to work with silver. She also makes a lovely cuppa, and lunch was yummy. I don't think we stopped laughing, it was a brilliant day.
