Hand building with Clay - Positive Pots

Description

The crafty Potter Studio hosts fun & informal Pottery sessions based in the beautiful village of Heskin, Lancashire.

This is a two session class, the first is 1.5hrs making our creation, then you return to the studio 3 weeks later for a 2hr session to glaze your item.
Class Times: 10-11.30am or 1.30-3.30pm

Come & Join us in this hilarious & heart warming Positive Pots Class whilst we celebrate the human body in all its beautiful & diverse forms.

You will learn how to shape, mould and assemble clay to make your basic form either a Vase, Planter, Mug or aJug.

We then use additional clay to add the bits!
Body parts big or small can be added, noses, boobs, missing bits, tummies, bottoms & even the naught bits- anything goes

Once you've created your master piece it stays with us for firing, you'll then return to the studio 3 weeks later to glaze your item.
You are also welcome to take the item home to air dry on the day, your creation can then be painted with acrylics.

The Crafty Potter studio is based within Heskin shopping Village, a unique retail and leisure destination featuring over 40 unique shops and businesses, With free parking we’re a perfect destination for you to make a great fun day out.
