Description

In this two and a half-hour session, you will be taught the basics of working with glass with demonstrations and tips for successful glass fusing techniques. You will be taught how to score and break glass safely, and how to work with a variety of inclusions. We will be making pendants and hanging glass ornaments - please see the attached photographs for examples.

I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years’ experience and has been teaching glass workshops for 10 years. My work is inspired by natural forms, mainly flowers, foliage, and the seaside.

All materials are provided, no experience needed. After the workshop the glass will be fused in a kiln and can either be collected or posted within two weeks. I will explain how this will work on the day of the workshop but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Participants should be over 16 due to the equipment used in this process. However, I am happy to accept participants aged 14-15 as long as they are accompanied by a parent/guardian but please email me before booking.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
