About the Course

First class: "Introduction to Glass Fusing"

On these two Fridays we will talk about:
- What is glass
- What is glass fusing
- Compatibility
- Devitrification
- 6mm Rule
- Thermal Shock
- Firing Schedules

You will accomplish a full fused piece and in the second day you will learn how to slump it.

Every two sessions you will learn a different glass fusing technique.​

- Fusing and slumping a glass dish.
- Use fiber paper to create your own molds.
- Mastering the use of frits.
- Screen print on glass.
- Glass jewellery.
- Understanding high and low temperature enamels.
- How to recycle your stained glass off cuts
- Boiled glass
- And much more!

Maximum 5 people for course for maximum individual attention.
We will work with a reduced palette of glass colours and frits.

What to bring : Please wear comfortable clothing in layers with flat covered footwear.
