About the Course

This course is suitable for all, from beginners to more experienced. Techniques such as slab building, pinching, coiling, press moulding, surface texture, colour and glazing are covered in the five weeks. From here, you are able to develop your own creativity with the material and are encouraged to explore your own interests and ideas. The class sizes are small (6 max) so advice and technical help is always there when needed.

Monday evenings 7-9.30pm 24th June - 22nd July 2 spaces
Tuesday mornings 10-12.30pm 25 June - 23rd July 2 spaces
Wednesday evenings 7-9.30pm 5th June - 3rd July 2 spaces
Thursday mornings 10-12.30pm 6th June - 4th July 2 spaces

About the teacher
Elly gained a Masters degree at the Royal College of Art in 2004 and has over 20 years experience of working with clay and many years teaching. Alongside her classes, she also has her own ceramic practice which she exhibits at ceramics fairs and exhibitions.
