Moyna reviewed: Introduction to Natural Dyeing Workshop, Mere, Wiltshire

"I spent a wonderful day yesterday in the middle of the Hampshire countryside with a lovely small group of fellow dyers. Claudia shares her knowledge and experience freely, with ease, fun and enthusiasm. She obviously loves her subject. Her tuition is spot on - easy to follow with lots of examples and encouragement to be hands on. The practical experience was well set out and we each produced a different dye bath - it was fascinating to see the colours develop. I learnt so much - I came away with exactly what I wanted from the day - enough knowledge to encourage me to carry on at home, but not too much technical information that could put you off 'flying solo'. Good straightforward information booklet to take home and lots of contacts and suppliers to stock up. I loved it and would recommend this day to everyone."

Elka responded:

"Thank you so much Moyna for taking the time to leave a review, it's so helpful to gain feedback. Thank you also for your contribution to the workshop, it was lovely to meet you. Best wishes, Claudia."

Lynne Vowles reviewed: Simple Frame Basket with Windrush Willow

"I have just attended the plant support course. What a fabulous day. Richard was brilliant at explaining everything and showing us what to do. We started working in the barn as it was more sheltered but eventually moved outside into the sunshine. We ate our packed lunches sitting under the shade of some willow trees and were later treated to a great lemon drizzle made by his wife Sue. It was wonderful to be able to come home with two amazing and different plant supports. Richard was always on hand to help out when I needed reminding how to do the weaving or if a stronger pair of hands were needed. I had slightly achy hands by the end of the day but a small price to pay for such a fabulous experience. The plant supports are currently in the garage just waiting to be treated before putting outside. Can't wait to see my sweet peas growing up the tall one. Thanks for a great day Richard."
