Sue Tay reviewed: Resin Art Mistletoe Kit - the perfect Stocking Filler - Beautiful translucent bunch of mistletoe with shiny berries.(Code 123)

"Arrived promptly, well packaged. Instructions and videos were clear and looked straightforward to do. Only drying time wasn’t explained, but we made all leaf pairs first before assembling. I shared the present with a friend and we had a lovely afternoon pre-Christmas making a smaller bunch each. The kit was enough to make two decent sized bunches. We made a few more pairs of leaves without berries. Did not need thinner. Delighted with the end product."

Inion responded:

"Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased that you enjoyed the mistletoe kit, and that you liked the bunches of mistletoe you made. It is so nice to get such nice comments. Thank you."

Jess & Nick Lobo reviewed: Basket making for beginners using traditional willow basketry techniques

"We had the nicest day, learning to weave baskets with Johnny and his family. The workshop is charmingly rustic and cosy and hot drinks are brought to your workbench whenever required. We were both chuffed to bits with the beautiful baskets we made under Johnny and Becky's informal, yet informative tuition. Delicious lunch was provided, fresh, by a friendly local supplier. All in all a lovely, relaxing day. Highly recommended ❤️"

Tina Perry reviewed: Deep Buttoned Stool - One Day Workshop

"I did the storage crate workshop along with 2 friends last week. We had a lovely day, great tuition, great workspace everything provided, I’ve never done upholstery before so was a little apprehensive! Emma’s instruction made the task reasonably straightforward and was on hand for any problems. Tea and coffee were provided and we booked a local afternoon tea box for our lunch which added to make the day special"

Nigel Keeble reviewed: Deep buttoned footstool - 1 day workshop

"This is the third course I’ve taken with Emma and it surpassed the others. It was a great experience full of laughs and learning. I met also some great people in the process. Emma has a great way of teaching and putting everyone at ease. She takes what looks very complex and turns it into something that is quite straightforward and achievable by all. I would recommend all of Emma’s courses to anyone."

Jane Baker reviewed: Deep Buttoned Stool - One Day Workshop

"My daughter and I have had a fantastic day on the upholstery workshop creating a cushion for a crate to use for extra storage for any room. Great to sit on to and put your feet up! Having limited knowledge of upholstery it was a great way to learn about what tools are needed and how to go about building the cushion. The day was well planned out and every stage covered and absolutely no time pressure in fact the time flew by. What a sense of achievement getting the corners just right and the buttons perfectly in place. Above all for me was the opportunity for my daughter and me to get together to make a special memory after a year pretty much apart. A great workshop"

Ros reviewed: 'Fundamental Art Skills' 10-week live online zoom course for complete beginners with Artist Raya Brown

"The amazing thing about Raya's classes is that each time she presents a new piece of work, I think 'There's no way I can do that". But by the end of the class, with her great guidance and explanations of how to execute it, I have produced a piece of work I am really happy with. I really recommend her classes."

Magic Wool Art and Craft Studio responded:

"Dear Ros, Thank you very much for your review. I am so glad that my tuition helps you to produce some lovely art work. I look forward to seeing you at my art courses in the new year. Best wishes Raya"

Wendy Pankhurst reviewed: 1 to 1 Beginners Crochet and beyond - East Grinstead

Nicola Gentry reviewed: Absolute beginners crochet class - max 6 people

"I went to a beginners class at Nicole's and found her very knowledgeable. I had very little experience in crochet and she was very patient with me as I struggled to pick it up! By the end of the two hours, I knew a couple of stitches and felt confident to do it on my own. It was inspiring to see the projects she had finished and what you could achieve. I definitely recommend a class with Nicole whatever the level."

Darren Peake reviewed: Private One to One Stained glass by Le Breton Traditional (near Exeter/Crediton/Tiverton)

"We attended a one to one course as a group of 3 for a family birthday. None of us had any experience or expectation of what we were undertaking - and I have to say everything was brilliant. Matt handled the introduction and history of Stained glass with expertise and knowledge. Clearly explaining the step by step process, use of the tools and designing of a piece that could be completed in the day session. Assisting with every step offering help where needed and passing on the skills in an uncomplicated and clear manner. No question or request is too much trouble. As a host for the course, Matt works hard to make sure everyone gets something out of the day and has fun whilst learning. I can undoubtedly say we all left armed with a new skill and the confidence to continue in the hobby. Our visit came at a time when the COVID precautions were necessary, and Matt left nothing to chance with clear guidelines, precautions and facilities in place for everyone's safety, there was no need for concern and everyone felt comfortable and safe in the workshop. I can highly recommend Matt as a tutor and an expert, and would encourage anyone to book a course - you'll have a great time!"
