Nicci Bennett reviewed: Handspinning creative yarns

"Such a fab 2 days - really exciting to be able to produce knittable wool with just 2 days tuition. Fiona was so patient and encouraging even when she had to repeat things over and over when I just couldn't remember how to do something. Came home and had bought my wheel within 24 hours - felt really inspired. I really want to go back again when I have had some practice at home and develop further skills"

Shropshire Weavers responded:

"Thanks Nicci. It was lovely to meet you and to get you started on your spinning journey. I look forward to seeing you again. Happy Spinning!"

Dianne Gray reviewed: Mixed ability Crochet class - East Grinstead

"Learning to crochet was on my bucket list, I had never picked up a crochet hook until I attended Nicole’s beginners class, and thanks to her I have found a new hobby I love. Without her calm patience I would have given up, instead, I have, over the course of about three years, progressed from making a rather scrappy wonky coaster to being confident enough create a range of increasingly challenging projects and intend to carry on crocheting as long as I can. The atmosphere in her classes is always relaxed, everyone is friendly and I have met some lovely ladies. I always look forward to the lessons and drop in sessions. Thanks again Nicole for your encouragement. !!Keep Crocheting!!"

Ashleigh reviewed: Absolute beginners crochet class - max 6 people

"Nicole was a very friendly, patient and gentle crochet teacher - making me feel at ease with my non existent crochet knowledge. She was very good at explaining things, demonstrating and then helping along the way, giving everyone one to one attention throughout the session. Nicole also offered her YouTube tutorials to follow up after, and suggested we message her with any queries, which I did. She corrected my stitches via pictures sent to her and I’m now on track for my first crocheted scarf in treble. I’m a happy bunny. Thanks Nicole."

Just My Cup Of Crochet responded:

"Thank you Ashleigh, I can’t wait to see your scarf when it’s finished…the last pic I saw was fab! Was lovely to meet you. Hope to see you again soon ?"

"I had a great day working with Gill in her garden workshop. I had never worked with glass before but was reassured by the excellent teaching and support I was given and thoroughly enjoyed working on a couple of projects - one a stand alone piece and the other a lantern requiring 4 panels. Lunch was tasty and gave me the energy needed to see me through the afternoon session I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in trying glass working. Thank you both so much."

Laura reviewed: Beginners silversmithing workshop

"As Polly says above, Kami is a lovely person: she’s enthusiastic, caring and interested in her students. We had a great time, with Kami supporting us to turn our very vague ideas into beautiful reality. She was able to accommodate two people doing very different things and using two different sets of skills and stayed attentive to us the whole time. We’ve definitely got the jewellery making bug and that’s Kami’s doing! Thank you Kami!"

Mya Designs responded:

"Hey Laura, thanks so much for coming to the workshop and glad you had some ideas of what you wanted to make and happy to be guided through the stages. Both of your pieces are fabulous! Thanks for a lovely review too :)"
