Have taken this course on two different occasions. Rose’s instruction, her demonstration and her layout of the tools you will need, makes it idiot proof.
It was fun, no pressure, gentle encouragement, very meditative experience.
The best part, I discovered a skill that previously would have sworn I did not possess. Thank you Rose.
Suzannah Johnson - - #23872
Response from Made with Rose:Thank you for your comments Suzannah. It was a pleasure working with you. Never under estimate your creative spirit. You have developed a real skill for making silk flowers and I have enjoyed watching your creativity bloom.
I have attended 2 of the silk flower making courses now and have found each one so enjoyable. A real chance to explore my creativity while learning new skills with such wonderful results. Rose provides excellent tuition and encourages you to express your own originality with a wealth of choices. The venue has an ambient atmosphere of comfort, spaciousness, ideal for relaxation and helping you unwind.
Rose puts a lot of thought into making each workshop original and seasonal. Touches like offering complimentary mulled wine at the Christmas Roses workshop was welcomed by all. I made new friends and felt like therapy for the soul.
Carol McQuilkin-Dunn - - #23870
Response from Made with Rose:Thank you Carol. There is no better complement than to have a returning customer. I really enjoyed being creative with you. I hope that you can carry on your creative spirit as it is really important for our well-being and mindfulness.
I had a fantastic day learning how to make peonies. The process was so interesting and produced beautiful results. Rose explained and demonstrated every step very clearly and is a very supportive teacher. It was fun to learn a variety of techniques and so satisfying to watch it all take shape. Great day, great company, would definitely recommend and can’t wait to do another one myself :)
Jennifer - - #23869
Response from Made with Rose:Thank you for your feedback Jennifer. Peonies make great silk flowers and yours looked Stunning. I make a different flower every month and I am looking forward to us creating more flowers together again in the future.
An excellent day, productive and very creative, using techniques with heat that produced effective results. Managed to produce a really lovely Gerbera inspired brooch that is perfect to wear on my coat, jacket or my broad straw hat I wore the next day. Rose is warm and very welcoming and modelled each step in the process perfectly.
Marcella McQuilkin - - #23843
Response from Made with Rose:Thank you for your feedback Marcella, I certainly enjoyed working with you. Your Gerbera brooch was an excellent example of your creativity in bloom and made a stunning accessory.
The peony workshop was the first time I had booked to make anything creative. Rose is so patient and explains everything really well. Had such a fun day in lovely company and was thrilled to bits with the beautiful flower I had at the end of it. Thank you Rose!
Joy - - #23817
Response from Made with Rose:Thank you for your feedback Joy. Considering that this was your first ever craft day, your Peony was absolutely stunning. I just loved the colours that you chose.
It was my first time making these flowers and I'm so glad I booked to learn with Rose. She is so knowledgeable, patient, and happy to share her experience. I was looking for not just a creative day but also a relaxing day and it certainly was that. I am already looking at my diary to see when I can have my next 'Flower Fix' with Rose.
Dilys Fisher - - #23816
Response from Made with Rose:Thank you for your feedback Dilys. I really enjoyed working with you. Your summer wreath was just beautiful.
It was my first time making silk flowers and using a glue gun and Rose gave clear instructions and I was delighted with my finished Gerberas.
Rose was very accommodating, allowing us to select our own colour preference from her well stocked selection of silks, encouraging us to be creative.
I really enjoyed the course and will definitely be returning in the future.
Karen Walters - - #23814
