Wax Sculpt a Floral Ring Workshop; with Lindsay Forbes of Laconic - Sedgefield

Join experienced jeweller/goldsmith Lindsay Forbes, jeweller and founder of Laconic jewellery, as she guides you this introduction course working with wax. Learn how to bend and form waxes, using techniques to melt, join and add texture to create your organic floral ring in wax. You then have the option afterwards whether to have it cast in silver or not. If you decide to have this cast, price will vary depending upon weight and is from £40 upwards. This includes tidying up of the casting and your required finish. Please note this process takes up to 3 weeks.
What's included in the price?
Use of required equipment/tools. All materials to make; x1 wax ring (with option to have it cast for an additional charge). On hand, experienced tutor to instruct and guide you through the course. Tea/coffee & biscuits/cakes.

Maker
Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn.
