"Had a lovely day making a 3D suncatcher. I was amazed that I could make something that looks quite complex. Gigha is an excellent tutor and took the time to make sure we were all on the right tracks and her studio is a lovely working environment. I never felt rushed or panicky that I wasn't going to finish my piece. I'd love to come back for another workshop."

"Doing this class was genuinely one of the best decisions I've ever made! The studio was all flat and easily accessible when using a wheelchair, and Katy and Ryan were so accommodating and supportive. I worked in a group of amazing people also joining the class for the day and they were all so kind, friendly and fun to be around. The atmosphere in the studio was so welcoming and fun so every moment just felt like a positive learning experience. I truly can't rate this course high enough and can't wait to do more glassblowing in the future! Thank you! ❤️ "

It was fascinating to see the emergence of such different weaves appearing on the looms of each individual as well as the potentials of what objects of art they could become ... all as unique expressions of creativity!"

"Recently I attended Joanne’s furniture painting workshop at the lovely location of Grappenhall Heys. Joanne's workshop is fun, hands on and really informative. As a complete beginner to upcycling furniture, I had a lot of questions which Joanne answered fully and completely. Joanne is the friendliest of teachers and has a vast knowledge about the subject. She individually encouraged and supported each member of the class, when it came to actually working on our chosen pieces of furniture. The day was really enjoyable and very productive, as Joanne ensured each class member was able to transform their furniture using the painting techniques learnt in the workshop. I would recommend Joanne’s workshop to any novice upcycling enthusiast, you'll have a great day."

The settings are absolutely gorgeous as you are in the middle of the woodland and it is very peaceful. The workshop was fun, accessible and I have learned plenty of things. Really proud of what I have sculpted and was able to bring home after this class. Definitely recommend."
