Kev Timpson reviewed: One day blacksmithing course in West Wales

"Hi Aaron, 30th September 2023 will always be well remembered by me. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. I really wish all those years ago that I'd been able to do metalwork and woodwork and perhaps take that on at college instead of learning Chemistry! I am chuffed to bits with my fire rake and the hooks. The forging and hammering was fascinating, particularly trying to get the swirled ends facing the right way! The company was great too. Glad I was in the van and not on the bike going back in the rain though. I would recommend this to anyone of any age. I'm 63 and I want to do some more!"

A and T Petersen Ltd responded:

"Thanks for your lovely review Kev. Glad you had a brilliant time. We'd love to have you back again, Aaron and Trudi "

Claire & Jeremy Clarke reviewed: Beginners half-day pairs pottery / ceramics workshop

"We had a great time on the pottery afternoon with Louise. We wanted to do something different together as an activity and as we had enjoyed Pottery Throw Down we thought let's have a go! We really enjoyed the whole experience, Louise was a great instructor and we laughed lots and also felt proud of what we managed to achieve. We will be going back sometime to have more time on the wheel and see if we can 'master' that. We highly recommend this experience"

You both made some really cool pieces (particularly like the musical vases Claire) and, well, it has to be said, but Jeremy you did take very well to the throwing element :-). Would be a pleasure to have you back and we're so glad you enjoyed your experience with clay."
