"What an amazing day! i bought this experience day for my partners birthday and could not have been more pleased with the day. I attended as a spectator and i am glad i did, set in beautiful surroundings with the most extraordinary views we were impressed before we'd even started. you start with a cup of tea and a chat to discuss the pieces you'd like to make, then it's onto the projects! half way through the day you're provided with lunch, the most delicious Tuscan stew i've ever tasted (vegetarian)! All the techniques were fully explained and demonstrated throughout which really gave you an understanding of the craft and how it works before you attempt the next step of your project. my partner produced 2 beautiful bottle openers in this time on the course whilst i took photographs of the most impressive anvil collection, kept warm in the kitchen next to the fire or popping in to see what was happening! Also you get to spend the day with 3 of the most friendliest and welcoming people i've ever had the pleasure to meet. could not recommend this more!"

"Absolutely loved my day with Lucy. I spent the day transforming an old coffee table with decoupage and a paint effect. Lucy is extremely knowledgeable about all sorts of techniques and I learned loads from listening to the other ladies on the course as well as my own project. Lovely lunch and homemade cakes too!"

"An excellent day. Well prepared, with materials and notes all to hand. There was a good balance of demonstration and clear instructions, which enabled us to make 4 samples during the day. "I had a wonderful time learning a new skill in the old school workshop, Sarah explained everything slowly and in an easy to understand manner which mean't that it was easy to retain. The building was a beautiful old school with a modern clean airy feel and lots of space. I would recommend the course and Sarah as a tutor to anyone wishing to pick a new skill in leather-work. Also a big plus is, i came away with a nice hand made coin holder. Thank you Sarah great course.."

"I had such a lovely day and didn't want it to end. A great introduction to Rigid Heddle Weaving. Dunja is a wonderful teacher - patient, welcoming, thorough, highly knowledgeable, supportive and skilled on all levels. A beautiful location and a beautiful space. I would have happily stayed in Dunja's calm and tranquil space weaving away for days. I will without doubt be back for more soon."

"Thank goodness for this course! My darling husband bought me a camera for my birthday but I desperately needed to learn how to use it properly and make the most of it. "Excellent workshop which I would not hesitate to recommend or attend again! Catherine fully explained everything relating to soap making in a friendly environment, paced at a level that was easy to follow. We came away with two batches that I am looking forwards to using and giving one or two to friends as gifts to sample for themselves. Great value for money. "Lucy stuffed so much content into our 4 weeks that it was mind blowing, yet she also gave us lots of practical activities, laced with cake and tea, so that the whole course was an absolute joy. With four of us, in Lucy's kitchen, the atmosphere was friendly and warm and she has so much to teach ! I really looked forward to the course every week; we all made so much progress with our respective designs and were sad to leave at the end. Outstanding course - I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to design and decorate a room, or anyone who wants to start to learn about interior design in a lovely relaxed environment. Thanks Lucy; can't wait to bring my own new design to life."

"This was my second workshop with Lena ... all I can say is what an Excellent way to acquire a new skill and learn new techniques. Lena is a very patient tutor ... I could jar the patience of a saint... but she explained and demonstrated every aspect of the making process extremely well, even I could follow the instructions. Met some wonderful people and saw a variety of different ideas come to fruition. Highly highly recommend spending some quality 'me' time on one of Lena's courses. I will be back :) ,"
