Description
Our beginner-friendly Art & Wine Evenings offer a fun, relaxed and creative night out in Edinburgh's fabulous city centre, and are perfect for those who lack confidence with their drawing and painting skills or are new to working with acrylic paints. With hands-on help from local artist Suzanne Kemplay, you will learn how to create your very own still life, portrait or landscape painting using acrylic paints, while enjoying a glass of wine served with a sharing cheese platter. Suzanne offers a range of themes throughout the year, and you will be given a choice of 2 options to paint on the night. She will provide a brief background to the artist's work, and offer hands-on support throughout the evening to help you make the most of your time. No drawing skills or previous experience is needed, and the aim is to have fun playing with paint while developing your creative skills. Suzanne will talk you through the process showing you how to mix colours, and how to apply acrylic paint to get the best results. We think you'll surprise yourself at what you can achieve in just one evening.
What's included in the price?
All equipment is provided, and all the materials are included in the price of your workshop. You will take your painting home with you on the night. Red or white wine is served up with a sharing cheese platter, plus access to drinking water. All included in the price.

The workshops are run from our mews home in the beautiful Georgian New Town of central Edinburgh. We believe in the wellbeing benefits of engaging in creative activity, and our class sizes are kept small so that you get the support you need to make the most of your time with us. We teach you creative skills you can continue at home.
