About the Course
Design and construct your own stunning leaded light panel. A practical workshop for those with some basic experience who wish to develop their skills and learn the traditional method of leadwork.
Over the 2 days you will have the opportunity to make an original leaded panel with a surface area of approximately 1 square foot.
A choice of templates are provided with the option to design your own if you prefer. Lilian will take time during the course to advise you on designing specifically for stained glass so please do not plan too much in advance.
At least a little experience of cutting glass is recommended for this course.
Tutor: Lilian Shaw
Lilian trained originally as a painter working in oils and pastels. Her love of light and colour led her to pursue a career as a stained glass artist. She founded her own studio in 1986.
She has many varied commissions to her name both in the UK and abroad. These include pieces for private clients, churches and the National Trust.
Lilian is an experienced and conscientious tutor with a genuine passion for her craft.

Highly recommend this course. I have been to Zantium Studios three times and each time has been a wonderful experience. Fantastic hospitality, plus lovely lunches and cakes! Great tuition, I have learnt so much in a short space of time. Looking forward to going back for quite a few of the many courses they have to offer!
