Description

2 hour glass marble making course held on weekdays throughout the year in beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Make your own handmade glass marble.

Please request your preferred date above.

The courses are fun and relaxed, will give you the skills & confidence to make borosilicate glass creations. The courses are run from a fully equipped glass lampworking workshop. All tools and safety equipment are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own tools if you wish. Tea and coffee is on tap.

Should you wish to stay for "torch time" after your lesson to practice your newfound skills, this can be arranged onsite.

You will get to make a marble from a selection of colours of borosilicate glass, with a choice from a number of designs. The completed marble will be shipped onto you the following day of the workshop after it has been annealed in our kilns.

There will be a maximum of 2 people per course with 1 tutor available on most week days, meaning a ratio of 2 students to 1 tutor, giving you the most of our time.

As well as the practical side we will also give you lots of tips and answer all your questions as we go. I have designed the workshops to be doable in the 2 hours.

I am happy to answer any questions so please get in touch using the above links.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
