About the Course

An opportunity to experiment producing your own dyed embroidery threads in a range of shades & colours. Please bring a plastic apron & a tray to transport your threads home.
The samples produced will need to soak until the next day, so there will be lots of rinsing to do at home the following day for each participant. The threads will then take time to dry, before storing as a skein or wrapping onto cotton reels or around folded card.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All yarns & dyes will be provided, as well as the necessary equipment. Provided: A range of white cotton skeins of threads in different thickness prepared for dyeing, a selection of dye baths in different colours, charts of how to mix dyes to produce different colours, plastic gloves, plastic bags for each sample dyed, labels and information sheet.
Tea, coffee and biscuits.
