Come and learn the art of soft furnishing and create your own luxurious roman blind with me Rebecca. In this friendly and encouraging workshop I will teach you everything you need to create your very own lined Roman Blind in this full day course. Choose your own fabric to create something really beautiful or select some from my collection (for a small fee). You will learn: How to make a professional quality lined Roman blind with no visible stitches. Learn about suitable fabrics for blind construction. How to frame and block your blind. Easy method to work out folds. Traditional hand stitching techniques. How to construct and sew your lining with sewn in rod pockets. Child safety devices. How to track and successfully hang your blind. Take home your beautiful creation. This workshop is designed to be an escape from the hustle and bustle, put your electronics down and enjoy some quality time creating. Learn new skills, meet other like minded people in a positive encouraging environment. A lovely way to spend your day and you will leave feeling inspired and confident with your newly acquired skills. No previous experience is required all tools and equipment is provided. We really look forward to meeting you.
