About the Course
This course starts on Sunday 25th February at 1.30pm to 4.30pm and runs every Sunday until 18th March (4 sessions)
This course will teach you the technical skills of Corsetry. You will need to have good sewing skills as this course focuses upon structure, which using specialise components such as Boning, Eyelets, binding etc for structure and fit.
Corsetry is widely becoming a popular form of garment making. With the skills you will obtain in this course will enable to create garments for special occasions such as Weddings, Lingerie or for something a little on the wild side, as well as fashionable wear.
On this course you will learn how to make a Corset pattern using your own measurements. You will be shown how to use modern and traditional techniques to produce a lined, boned corset which will enhance your figure and then be able to personalise your corset with your own choice of fashion fabric. At the end of the course you will have a beautifully constructed corset and adjusted pattern to enable you to go on to produce further items.
This course will run for 4 sessions for you to get a good understanding of the processes and will be taught by an experienced teacher with over 15 years of Corsetry.

What's included in the price?
We will provide you with the materials so you don’t need to bring anything with you, but will need to bring your own outer fabric if you wish to personalise your corset, you will be advised by the teacher in the first session.
