Description
In this session, you will create between five and eight porcelain Christmas decorations. A wide range of textures, stampers and cutters are available to use to make your own unique decorations. A relaxing and creative session suitable for all levels. Create a set of matching themed decorations or a collection of individual ones, up to you! I will be able to suggest techniques to help you make some pieces you will be proud to show off at Christmas! - 6 spaces per class. This course needs a minimum of two people booked on to go ahead, so please get in contact first if for one person only or you can book a whole session for your own group. All work will be fired and ready to collect in time for the festive season (p&p options available). About the teacher: Elly gained a Masters degree at the Royal College of Art in 2004 and has over 20 years experience of working with clay and many years of teaching. Alongside her classes, she also has her own ceramic practise which she exhibits at ceramics fairs and exhibitions.

Maker
Elly has been a professional potter for over 20 years and is formally trained. Firstly gaining a degree in ceramics at Bath Spa University College, and then a Masters degree in ceramics from the Royal College of Art. Elly has always taught alongside her professional practice, enjoying meeting new people and sharing her love of clay, while passing on tips and knowledge she has picked up over her career. When she is not teaching she is making her own work to sell through galleries and ceramics fairs.

You may get some clay on you, so please wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty, or bring an apron.
