Hello, I'm Sharon, an experienced sculptor & clay artist. Along with a small staff team, I regularly host fun & informal sculpting sessions. The studio is based in the beautiful village of Heskin, Lancashire. The class is suitable for beginners and can be attended by up to 4 persons. The class is for adults aged 18 and over and runs Tuesday - Saturday, am or pm, every week. Come & join us in making either a Highland cow; hare; fox; dog; cat or elephant in clay. We work at your pace with step-by-step tuition throughout. You will learn how to shape, mould and sculpt clay by hand, making fabulous memories & a clay creation to treasure. If you wish to make your own sitting pet dog, we will need several photos a few days before your class starts. If you are wanting a different animal or pet, contact us via the 'message the tutor' button to see if this is possible in the session time. Once you've created your master piece it stays with us for firing, ready to be painted at home with acrylics, OR you may wish to return to the studio to glaze your item. This is an optional extra at a cost of £15pp. The Crafty Potter studio is based within Heskin shopping Village, a unique retail and leisure destination featuring over 40 unique shops and businesses, with free parking. We’re a perfect destination for you to make a great fun day out. The class makes a fabulous gift for all occasions.
