Jo xx *** Wish to create a lovely sculpture of your own faithful dog? Or surprise someone with a sculpture you have made of their pet? Or gift a wonderful kit to them to enjoy the experience of sculpting themselves! No previous clay sculpting experience is needed as this kit is suitable for complete beginners. Everything is included in the kit to create your own fabulous bronze finished 'Faithful Dog' sculpture at home! Once finished, your sculpture will measure about 13cm x 8cm and weigh about 500 grams. You can base it on your own dog as instructions are given on how to develop a Scale Template of your own pet. This beautiful kit is also ideal for a unique special gift - Contact Jo if you would like a card with your personal message included in the pack and have the whole package sent directly to the recipient. Coming from the Jo Garden Art studio where we usually have in person workshops (see the 'Hare Sculpture Workshops' and 'Two Day Sculpture Workshops' here on the Craft Course Website), this kit is one of a range now on sale by Jo Garden Art (press the 'more from this maker button'). Each kit is lovingly put together by Jo in her Suffolk studio and contains professional quality products as used in our 'in-person' workshops. You will usually take about 90 minutes to sculpt your dog using quality air-drying clay. If you want a break, Jo includes in the kit a bio-degradable bag to keep your sculpture moist. Once finished your sculpture is either left to air-dry over 24 - 48 hours or popped into an oven for 90 minutes! You then use the provided paint and gilt cream (paint brush and applicators are in the kit) to evolve your faithful dog sculpture into a stunning bronze finish. You can share this experience with family and friends! Also on sale is a cost saving 'Friends & Family' pack for 4 people (£99 - press 'see more by this course organiser' button). The quality products are individually packed so you can easily distribute between households if social distancing or sharing a Zoom party! Fabulous fun and enjoyed by any age group (please note young children must be supervised). Jo guarantees no two Faithful Dog sculptures will be the same! We can also mix types of sculptures within the ‘Friends & Family’ pack, so you might ask for 2 ‘Sleeping Cats’ and 2 ‘Faithful Dogs’ … or perhaps a 'Hare' in the mix! Please note - this kit should be made within 4 months of purchase. Welcome 😃 I'm Jo Garden. I call myself a 'facilitator' as my joy is enabling people of any skill to achieve something they did not expect, plus have time away from the everyday stresses of normal life. My sculpture & slate mosaic workshops are broken down into small stages which result in amazing sculptures and works of art regardless of your artistic ability (honestly). If you purchase a kit, there is a full length video of me making the sculpture which you can watch as many times as you wish. If attending a workshop, my peaceful studio is tucked into the garden surrounded by trees and wildlife making it a very tranquil and stress busting. I run several workshops a month but am often booked up for months in advance. If you book a long way in the future, I do make contact if I have cancellations and can move you forward. "I absolutely loved this kit. I have literally never even picked up a piece of clay in my life and I don't have an artistic bone in my body, yet somehow with your kit and your guidance, I've actually managed to make something that vaguely resembles my dog!! Tula, the Cockapoo who is one of the 'templates' had a nasty accident a couple of weeks ago and I've just returned from the vets where she had her 10 stitches out, poor thing. However, she is all recovered but will have a big scar across her chest - perhaps I will need to do a new sculpture of her!!!!"

"I was bought this as a present after my lovey labrador Dylan passed away. Despite having no natural artistic ability, I followed the video and was delighted with my finished Dylan. He was a black labrador and my friend had contacted Jo to see if she would put black paint in instead of bronze which she did. There was clay left over and I made a tiny food bowl to sit beside him as he was always hungry! He is now on my kitchen window ledge and we have a chat everytime I washup. Would recommend this kit very much even if you think you have no creative skill!"

"Just to say how much I’m enjoying using your kit to make a sculpt of my friend’s whippet as a surprise for her birthday. Your instructions are very clear though getting good photos of her dog without her knowing has been very challenging! I wondered if you could tell me where to buy the clay you include in the kit. I do some figurative sculpting with air drying clay but it’s more groggy and I like the finer texture of your clay, especially for smaller works. Many thanks, Maggie"
