Description
Portrait sculpture from photographs. On this two day course, you will use photographs of a person of your choice as reference for your portrait. We will focus on anatomy, expression, application of clay, and transposing a 2D image into £3D form. This course is suitable for those with some experience in clay modelling or sculpture, who wish to expand their skills. Please note that you would be required to bring along your own reference photographs - ideally front view; side profile and 3/4 view minimum. Yes the course runs on 2 consecutive days. The listing on craft courses shows the first of the two days but the course is a 2 day workshop. We often run a 2 day course and then another 2 day course back to back. The date for the next course sometimes confuses people as this is for the first day of the next course.
