Family & Friends 4 x Bronze Hare Kit using air-drying clay - including on-line video with Jo Garden Art

Description

Everything you need to create four fabulous bronze finished hare sculptures at home! Treat your family or friends to a laughter filled day each creating a unique masterpiece to keep. (Nb: There is a separate listing of a mixed Friends and Family kit containing 2 x Sleeping Cats and 2 x Hares - press on โ€˜more from this makerโ€™ button to find it!). Coming from the Jo Garden Art studio where we usually have in person workshops (see the 'Hare Sculpture Workshops' and 'Two Day Sculpture Workshops' here on the Craft Course Website), this kit has been lovingly put together by Jo. The kit comes with written instructions (with photos) as well as a link to a YouTube video showing Jo explaining the complete process. No previous clay sculpture experience is expected as Jo will show you each step in detail. The basic form of the hare (the 'armature'), included in the kit, is individually handmade by Jo in her Suffolk studio. The head, ears and tail can be moved into whatever pose you would like before you apply the clay. Names can be scribed on the base of your hare to make them even more personal. Your group will usually take about 90 minutes to sculpt the hares using the quality air-drying clay over the unique armature. Pop them in the oven for another 90 minutes (perhaps whilst you have lunch!). You then use the provided paint and gilt cream to evolve your hares into a beautiful bronze finish. Fabulous fun and enjoyed by any age group (please note young children must be supervised). Jo guarantees no two hares will be the same! Please note - this kit should be made within 4 months of purchase. These wonderful hares are for enjoying inside as the air-drying clay prefers not to endure soggy weather ;-) Jo Garden Art - for amazing experiences! Postage is for UK mainland only - please make contact if outside this area. Price is for the kit of 4 sets to be sent to one address. Please message Jo if you wish for the kit to be sent to 4 addresses - please note extra charges will apply.

Welcome ๐Ÿค— I'm Jo Garden. I call myself a 'facilitator' as my joy is enabling people of any skill to achieve something they did not expect, plus have time away from the everyday stresses of normal life. My sculpture workshops and kits are broken down into small stages which result in amazing sculptures regardless of your artistic ability (honestly). If you purchase a kit, there is a full length video of me making the sculpture which you can watch as many times as you wish. If attending a workshop, my peaceful studio is tucked into the garden surrounded by trees and wildlife making it a very tranquil and stress busting. I run several workshops a month but am often booked up for months in advance. If you book a long way in the future, I do make contact if I have cancellations and can move you forward. Please do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions. Jo x
