About the Course
Spend the day making one or two figures. Learn techniques to make heads, limbs and clothes.
This is quite an intense day so be prepared!
I suggest that you bring several images of the type of person you want to make.
Class size will be small to allow for one to one tuition.
The figures will be fired when you have an option to return to glaze them (£15 extra) or they will be stained and fired again. They will be ready to collect between 2 and 4 weeks after the course.
The course will be run by an experienced sculptural ceramicist and teacher, Lesley Woods, who runs regular classes at the venue throughout the year.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

A lovely venue, nice relaxed group with everything you need to make a great little figure full of character. Lesley is very patient and generous with sharing her knowledge and tools and I immediately felt at home. As a budding potter I asked lots of questions and Lesley was very encouraging. I would highly recommend this course whatever level you are (and the lovely home made lunch was a nice bonus!)
