"Booked this for my partner and myself as a surprise treat for her. Sarah was very helpful throughout the booking process and responded to any questions quickly. We both had a lovely day in Sarah’s workshop where we learned lots, made a ring each and had tons of fun in the process. Sarah made sure we always had a drink and biscuits to hand and was a superb teacher! Would definitely recommend!!"

"I bought this course (one day woodworking machinery) for my son (18yrs) because he’d taken to ‘helping himself’ to my various cutting power tools without any knowledge of what he was doing! He seemed to really enjoy himself. He found Ted very friendly and helpful and came home reporting of the many power tools he’d used. He’d also made a lovely little box with some very neat joints and had a go at some other joints as well. Thumbs up 👍 for Ted’s course from us. Hopefully we’ll get on another one. Thanks."

"As a complete novice I was worried whether or not I’d be out of my depth, however, my worries we’re completely unfounded. Mark was patient, thoughtful and incredibly helpful throughout the weekend and managed the whole process expertly. I would recommend this course to anyone whatever their skill level, you’re in very safe and experienced hands, it’s amazing to come away with your own box made with your own hands. A lovely, enjoyable weekend, I’ll be back for more!!"

"After completing a 1 day hare workshop (a gift) back in the summer I was inspired to do a larger sculpture and had become fascinated by the ‘stack of people’ Jo had in her studio which would fit in with my various other abstract people ornaments around the house….only this one would be made by me! So this became a present to myself! Jo is an amazing host and tutor and the two days are fun and rewarding with endless cuppas and snacks. In fact it flies by! Jo guides you every step of the way and will suggest any alterations she thinks may be needed, ie ratio of head to body of said character etc. We did laugh when we realised that the ‘guy’ at the bottom of my stack was looking up the skirt of the ‘lady’ above him, so his head was soon altered to look ahead instead…it’s those sort of things that will bring a smile to you again and again when you relook at your masterpiece! An absolutely fantastic workshop in a great studio and beautiful setting with a great host (and hubby Andy who helps out) which I would thoroughly recommend to anyone……… I was an un-artistic beginner after all! "

"I did a two day course which was a present from my husband. I sculpted our dog, Hector and I was very pleased with the finished product. Jo is a patient and skillful teacher and learning the new skills was very tiring the first day, but SO rewarding. Sculpted Hector has made himself at home inside, and come the Spring, he's looking forward to playing outside! I would recommend this course (and Jo's excellent make at home kits; I also purchased a large hare kit) to anyone looking for something a bit different."

"My partner and I just had a fantastic day making our own wedding rings with Sheila. Right from the get go Sheila was professional and fun with us and we instantly felt welcome in her company. She has lots of options for the rings making so you are free to go off and design something amazing. We were also loving giving her dog a cuddle while creating however if you are not a fan or allergic to dogs Sheila will also sort this out for you so that your experience is still the best it could be! The level of care we received totally exceeded our expectations and made us excited to go back one day and create another little gem. Thanks for everything Sheila, I hope you get lots of customers flocking your way as they will not be disappointed! Anyone on the fence about booking, go for it and thank us later! "I received this cold process making course as a Christmas gift and what a fabulous gift this was. Julie’s course was well thought out, personal and a lovely way of spending a rainy morning. The whole process was explained and demonstrated, with support given throughout your own practical time. Julie shared some excellent top tips, and showed us how to finish our creations with beautifully simple packaging. The afternoon tea was simply divine and there was some left over to take home. I’d highly recommend any of the courses Julie provides as she shows you how to learn a new skill in such a supportive and fun way. We had lots of laughter and found a creative way to spend a rainy day."

"Had a brilliant day down at the Greenwood Music CIC site. Lovely bit of woodland with a mixed variety of species to learn about. Phil answered all of our questions with ease making the day roll seamlessly. We covered some coppice practical, learnt about various craft, had communal food round the fire which is always great. The set up they have meant the December weather wasn't an issue. Great experience and value for money."
