Woodturning Experience Days for beginners - Come and spend a day turning your first bowl
£130 per day, per person.
At your convenience. The Studio operates seven days a week and we will work to suit your availability. Please get in touch to book your day.
The full experience day is from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, with a break for lunch.
WHAT CAN YOU ACHIEVE?
We are all different and work at different speeds, but typically in half a day you can expect to finish a small bowl for your peanuts, and a small bowl and a bigger bowl in a whole day.
Children over the age of 14 are welcome but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. While we love our dogs, Millie and Milo are very jealous of their Studio so no guest dogs please (Or cats... M & M).
NUMBERS ON THE DAY
There are a maximum of two participants on the day. If you wish to bring a friend to watch you are most welcome, but please let me know in advance.
WHAT TO WEAR
Please wear clothes and footwear that you won't mind getting covered in shavings and you can be comfortable standing in all day. No open-toed sandals or flip flops please.
Please contact me to book.
What's included in the price?
You will be supplied with appropriate safety gear on the day. The timber for your first bowls is included - all locally sourced from responsible accredited suppliers.
Please bring your own packed lunch on the day. There is tea and coffee available all day included in the price.
We have off road parking for you in the yard. Just drive in and find a suitable spot.
