Natural (cold process) soap making workshop with afternoon tea



Would you like to make soap using ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen or garden? Then come along and join Jools in her fun filled workshop. Max 4 Students per course. Jools is Cert Ed qualified and has run her own natural cosmetics company for a number of years and has an enormous passion for all things natural. We are fully Covid compliant and provide all PPE. Students do not share any equipment or materials. Afternoon tea is served in individual picnic boxes. On the course you will learn to tailor make soap for yourself, family and friends, or to start your own small business using all natural ingredients and essential oils. This course is perfect for the beginner or intermediate and is an informative, fun and relaxed, hands on practical workshop. You will leave with a variety of organic and natural soaps and the required skills to create your own natural soaps at home. Course Content: - Introduction - Brief history of soap making - Science behind soap making - Equipment - Materials - Natural colours - Use of essential oils - Properties of ingredients - Traditional method of cold process soap making - Saponification process - Finishing and decoration
